Accepted Credit Cards
The Hearth Room accepts the following credit cards for internet purchases: American Express, Visa, Master Card and Discover. Your card will not be charged until your order is processed and shipped. Special orders/custom orders are charged 50% deposit when orders are placed.
Shipping
Our shipping and handling charges are intended to compensate our company for the cost of processing your order, handling and packaging the products you purchase and delivering them to you, and are non-refundable.
Non-freight items will be shipped via UPS ground or FedEx and offer several shipping options: Standard (ground), 2nd Day Air and Overnight Next Day Air (which does not include Saturday delivery). We are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes. We only ship Monday through Friday.
Curbside Delivery
Our standard freight charges include Curbside Delivery. Carriers are responsible for delivery to the curbside or driveway of your home. With Curbside Delivery, you are responsible for moving items into your home.
Returns and Warranties
We want you to be happy with your purchase. We stand behind the products we sell and the services we provide. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase or experience, we will work with you to make things right.
Merchandise may be returned for any reason within 30 days of receipt if you are not completely satisfied. We will credit or refund the cost of your purchase in the same manner in which the items were purchased (i.e. credit given back to a credit card). Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except for damaged or defective merchandise. Custom/special ordered merchandise, clearance items, and floor samples are not returnable.
Merchandise must be returned prepaid in good condition and in its original packaging. We cannot accept returns sent C.O.D. Please wrap your item carefully; package and ship it so that damage does not occur. We reserve the right to deny a full refund if merchandise is sent back in an unfavorable condition.
Damaged Merchandise
In the event of shipping damage, contact us within 24 hours so we can file a damage claim within the time period permitted by our shippers. Our shippers require us to respond quickly and specifically. Therefore, if you do not notify us of shipping damage according to a shippers requirements, we may be unable to replace a damaged order.

Your online transactions with thehearthroom.com are secure. We use SSL technology, allowing safe internet transmission. This makes your use of a credit card over the internet as safe as placing an order over the telephone when calling our store.
