What is The Hearth Room's working relationship with clients?
Creating unique and beautiful spaces is an organic process, one that by nature implies change, flexibility, creativity, and attention to detail in accordance with the needs and requests of our clientele. Each project we take on begins with a vision, an idea conceived in partnership with The Hearth Room and the client. This vision, in turn, is fit to a budget. While The Hearth Room is ultimately a creative resource, we recognize and respect the guidelines, both financial and aesthetic, that our clients are comfortable with.
 
Will I (as a client) have creative input in the interior design? 
In order to determine the needs and desires of our clients, we often ask clients to show us samples—pictures, images, fabrics, a specific piece of artwork or furniture—around which a room or home may be designed. These samples give us a glimpse into the client’s own personal vision for the space. From this initial meeting our designers take the project and intertwine the client’s ideas to custom-create an overall plan and vision, all while keeping within the client’s budget and aesthetic guidelines. Revisions and alterations to design plans and dreams are considered a part of the design experience, and we enjoy the subtle twists and turns each project takes before it finally becomes a reality.
 
Does The Hearth Room work with other builders and design firms?
While The Hearth Room often works in partnership with Kuepers, we do work with other builders and designers. From drawings, digital renderings, elevations, and color selections, to installations and the ordering of materials, The Hearth Room is involved with each project every step of the way, ensuring each job reflects the client’s vision—regardless of the builder.
 
How does The Hearth Room handle selecting products and furniture?
At The Hearth Room we are often asked for assistance with simple design consultation—choosing fabrics, furniture, textiles—outside of a construction project. This is a service we are happy to provide, and it is one more reason our design showroom is open and available to all of our clients. Our designers also assist clients with design consultation and product selection outside of The Hearth Room’s design showroom if clients wish to shop at other locations.
