Sara Raimann Senior Interior Designer Sara has been an interior designer at The Hearth Room since 2003 when she joined the family business. Her prior work experience in interior design began with summer jobs during college and carried over to a job in Rhode Island on an extensive residential design project. Currently, Sara works on both residential and commercial interior design projects. Some of the commercial projects she’s worked on have earned state and national recognition, such as Bar Harbor Supper Club on Gull Lake, MN, and most recently, Good Ol’ Days Family Resort in Nisswa, MN. As the senior interior designer, she also manages and schedules all The Hearth Room interior designers and educates them about products. While she enjoys working on a variety of projects, Sara shows a strong aptitude towards designing for high-end homes and businesses. Oftentimes, these types of projects go through several phases of design before reaching completion. “I pride myself on all stages of the design,” Sara says. Having grown up in the family construction business, she has a solid construction background and understanding of the design-build relationship, which she feels serves as an asset to any client she works with. In addition, she believes that sharp attention to detail and a knack for really listening to the client “makes all the difference in the success of any project.” Sara graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and in Interior Decorating from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Sara is currently working on her licensing and certifications and is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID).
