Kate Kuepers Designer / Showroom Manager As both a designer and the showroom manager of The Hearth Room in Baxter, Kate wears many hats. As a designer, she works with clients on the interior design and decorating of their home. Her specialty is in home furnishings and accessorizing. Although she has experience working on a wide variety of residential projects, including luxury homes in Colorado and Wisconsin, her typical projects include remodeling of quaint cabins or period restoration of lake homes. One of the main objectives of The Hearth Room is to offer home furnishings and selections that are unique to each person. So as a buyer for the showroom, Kate also travels extensively with other designers to find distinctive furniture, coverings, and accessories that will meet the expectations of all Hearth Room clientele. Kate started out pursuing a career in medicine, but a summer job during college led her to fall in love with interior design and decorating. She has since worked in the interior design field for over eight years. Kate has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and has completed several sales training programs as well.
