Alyssa Barkley Interior Designer Alyssa graduated in 2007 on the dean’s list from the Art Institutes International Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. She joined The Hearth Room design team shortly after. She is currently working towards her National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification and is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID). Alyssa has over three years of previous sales experience in the Twin Cities area, where she worked with many high-end residential clients. When designing for projects, she attaches great importance to building trust and relationships with clients. She strives to create a special experience for each person. “There are no two designs that are identical,” says Alyssa. She also enjoys tackling some of the challenges that often come with interior design, such as planning a design to meet a strict budget or working within limited spaces. Most of all, she loves “to create spaces with comfort and style.”
