Anna Struss Design Assistant As a design assistant, Anna performs a variety of tasks, assists interior designers, and works closely with clients on many of their design details. She has brought more than four years of retail design experience to The Hearth Room along with exceptional customer service skills. She continues to take advantage of any training opportunities to further her knowledge of the design field and exposure to new trends. Anna has always been interested in design, even as a child, but that interest was later shared with music. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Industry with a minor in Business from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She continues to be involved with music, but with her current position, she feels that she has found the perfect marriage between design and music. “They both require great tone, balance, dynamics, a good ear to listen, and remarkable discipline to orchestrate it all,” she says. “With each new client, my goal is to achieve the balance desired within each room and leave the client with a home full of harmony.”
